Bathroom Mold

A bathroom is a common place where mold growth can occur. Mold always needs a moisture source.  SERVPRO of Edgewater/Deale-Churchton/Lothian receives calls from homeowners who are remodeling their bathrooms. One such call came in when a homeowner in Deale, Maryland was remodeling their master bathroom.

When SERVPRO arrived, they assessed the area in question and determined there was a small leak behind the tile and drywall. Once the plumbing was repaired, our trained mold remediation technicians set up containment to prevent spore movement, removed the affected materials and applied an anti-microbial to eradicate the mold. We installed an air scrubber and dehumidifier until homeostasis was achieved.
